Product Design for Blip Toys
Products I designed and developed for Blip Toys. Blip is a small consumer products manufacturer specializing in innovative kid's toys. I worked on many aspects of the items in this portfolio from concept to art direction, product development, marketing, licensing and package direction. Brands I was responsible for include: Squinkies, OOTW, Botti, Disney Princess Palace Pets, our Impulse Novelty line and Gear Bots. Licenses I worked with include Disney, Marvel, DC Comics, Simpsons, WWE, Hello Kitty, Barbie, Hot Wheels, Power Rangers and Nickelodeon.
An interactive, remote controlled toy for girls. I designed the product, chose the fabrics, created the programming, art directed the package and TV commercial and even was the "voice" inside the toy!
A partnership with Disney Consumer Products to bring pets into the hugely successful Disney Princess line. Disney did the concept artwork and I worked through all of the product development.
This is Pumpkin, Cinderella's puppy. She is part of the Disney Princess Palace Pets line and is an interactive, remote controlled toy. Disney designed the character, but I worked through the translation to the plastic medium and added the accessories and fabric texture. I concepted the program for the IC chip and art directed the design of the magic wand.
